Sermon Synopsis

As Jesus prepares to return to the Father, he is intent on “re-setting” the perspective of the disciples who had responded with fear, doubt, and a return to ordinary time following their Lord’s resurrection. But at several levels–both personal and for the Kingdom–Jesus speaks words that offer a “re-set” for the new post-resurrection reality. What do we learn from this Kingdom “re-set” of two thousand years ago that speaks to our need to “re-set” for a post COVID-19 world that is more about the Kingdom?
